I never thought I’d become the kind of person who gets emotionally attached to a grid of numbers. If you had told me a few years ago that I would spend quiet evenings staring intensely at a 9x9 board, muttering to myself like a detective in a crime movie, I would’ve laughed. And yet, here we are.
This blog post isn’t meant to be a guide or a tutorial. It’s more like me sitting across from you with a cup of coffee, telling you about a strange little habit that slowly crawled into my life and refused to leave.
My journey began in the most unromantic way possible: boredom.
I was waiting for a delayed train, phone battery dying, internet unstable. Scrolling social media felt pointless. That’s when I noticed a simple number Sudoku puzzle app I had downloaded ages ago and never opened. No flashy graphics. No loud music. Just a clean grid and silence.
I didn’t expect much. I told myself I’d quit after five minutes.
Two stations passed. Then three.
That was the first surprise: how quickly time disappeared.
