The role: 

PHDV are working on a multi-year project to consolidate their online ordering product across all of the markets that we support globally. The team you will be working on is the front-end team, which will play a crucial role in building the new UI platform & working in partnership with other teams to enable them to build their own experiences for all of our markets. 

As a cross functional team of Engineers, Designers, Delivery Managers and more, the front-end team works as a unit to deliver high quality outputs. We typically work by having an idea, analyzing it and then running experiments to see if this is the way we should move forwards. Everybody has a voice within the team and, when required, we will come together to work collaboratively to solve a problem. It’s important to us that everyone is bought into the process and understands what we’re doing and why. 

Responsibilities: 

• Building secure, componentized frontend web applications using progressive enhancement and responsive design 
• Integrating with custom APIs hosted in AWS. 
• Working closely with the team to deliver a clean and maintainable codebase. 
• Responsible for building componentized frontend web applications using progressive and responsive design. 
• Collaborate with the product and design team to improve UI performance and enhance UX experiences. 
• Continuous input into product roadmap.

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience building and designing delightful user experiences as a frontend engineer. 
• Strong grasp of both written and verbal communication in English 
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript (Typescript is a big plus, but you can pick it up on the job if not!). 
• Good knowledge of Vue.js and VueX (familiarity with React.js and single page application is a plus). 
• Hands-on experience in using CSS preprocessors like SCSS, SASS, or LESS. 
• Familiar with Webpack configuration. 
• Have experience in implementing and designing large-scale front-end web applications. 
• Hands-on experience in integrating with REST APIs. 
• Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Github, Bitbucket or Gitlab. 
• Basic understanding of HTTP requests and responses. 

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of NPM modules. 
• Micro Frontend experience 
• GraphQL experience
