About this opportunity

Welcome to the SDT Card team. We create online services to millions of our Mobile and Web bank customers. Your role is to improve and expand this experience by creating services and implement web frontend.

What you’ll be doing:

• You will design, create and improve the RESTful APIs and microservices in our backend
• You will design, create and improve web core micro-apps & modules that power our web platform and use microservices underneath
• You are expected to take ownership of the code in your service area and ensure quality of the implementation
• You will also plan and coordinate the development effort with relevant stakeholders and other developers
• Depending on your interest, you can do contributions to the frontend & backend sides

You’ll join a team of experienced professionals, who are able to help and assist you in your work. The team will deliver full features from services to UI. Your role is based on your interest and there are opportunities even outside of your field of expertise.The role is based in Helsinki.

Your experience and background: 

• You have several years of professional experience in Java
• Spring Boot, reactive programming and libraries
• API Development using REST
• CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in Typescript, Javascript and CSS
• At least a few years of professional experience in Angular or React development
