We are currently seeking an Intermediate React Native Engineer to join our talented team. As an Intermediate Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and enhancement of our e-commerce mobile application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to create exceptional user experiences and solve complex technical challenges.

This position can be based remotely in BC, AB, ON, or NS.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features and functionalities for the mobile application.
• Write clean and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute innovative ideas to improve the application's performance and usability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile application development trends and technologies.

What you bring to the table

• Proven experience (2-4 years) in mobile application development with a strong focus on React Native, JavaScript, and React.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and integrating backend services into mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Preferred:

• Experience with mobile app testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with mobile performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of mobile security best practices.
