Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document applications to satisfy business requirements of projects.
• Provide technical consultation to Business/System Analysts and Project Managers for developing new systems or enhancing existing ones to support the business.
• Analyze and translate complex business requirements into technical requirements for development, and create high-level technical architecture, design documents, and technical specifications, in accordance with best practices and standards.
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend implementations.
• Work with team members to estimate timelines, define project plans, and delegate tasks.
• Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved.
• Periodically perform code reviews.
• Work with Technical Architects to realize technical concepts.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with modern versions of React.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs (using JSON) consumed by frontend applications.
• Experience designing and developing microservices.
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Containerization: Proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Version Control: Expertise in using Git, including branching strategies and code merging.
• Testing (Backend & Frontend): Familiarity with backend and frontend testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, React Testing Library, JUnit, Mockito, integration testing).
• Experience with npm or yarn.
• Experience with React state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Context).
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth2).
• Experience with backend testing frameworks for integration and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with other frontend libraries or tooling.
• Understanding of PHP code is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices in software development (backend and frontend).
• Good IT security awareness is highly desired.
• Solid analytical, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• This job demands flexibility and willingness to work in a dynamic environment with customer-driven projects. The candidates are expected to communicate with clients and colleagues in the EU regularly.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines. Independent, self-disciplined, self-organized, and able to learn and work under minimum supervision.
