We are seeking a highly skilled Lead React Native Engineer to drive the development and optimization of our mobile and web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining React Native apps for both iOS and Android platforms while also enhancing our React-based admin portal. You will collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure seamless API integration and lead the end-to-end delivery of features across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain React Native mobile apps for Apple and Android platforms.
Develop and enhance a React-based admin portal.
Collaborate closely with backend developers to optimise APIs for mobile and web consumption.
Lead the design, development, and delivery of features across mobile and web platforms.
Contribute to Agile processes, including planning, stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong experience with React Native for mobile app development, delivering apps on both Apple and Android.
Expertise in React for building and deploying SPAs.
Proficiency in Redux for state management.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
Experience with Git for version control, including branching and pull requests.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
Availability to collaborate during Melbourne business hours.
