  • Base Salary, HEO6/HE07 $99,455 - $118,267 (pro rata) + 17% superannuation 

About the opportunity

MedChem Australia (MCA) are welcoming applications for a Node Administrator to ensure efficient operation of the Sydney Node of MCA, situated in the School of Chemistry. The Node Administrator will provide high level administrative and operational support for the Node head and staff, including budget, staffing, communications, reporting and data management.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • manage general administrative services and operational support for the Sydney node

  • manage record keeping, and finance/accounting support and reporting for the node
    coordinate meetings and events for the node

  • undertake ad-hoc projects and other activities.

About you

  • excellent administrative, problem solving and analytic skills, and an ability to be adaptive and innovative in developing and pursuing solutions

  • excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes

  • well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills; ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships

  • advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite

  • experience in managing a diverse group of key internal/external stakeholders

  • administrative experience in a tertiary organisation, working knowledge of academic institutions, structures, and the higher education sector would be an advantage (desirable).
