Requirements

• Knowledge of SQL and experience with DB platforms
• Autonomous with using version control tools (Git/GitHub)
• Experience with different bug tracking systems (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, TestRail, Test Link or similar)
• Competency in Test automation frameworks (Playwright, Protractor, Selenium, WebdriverIo, CodeceptJs, Cypress)
• Understanding and hands-on experience of OOP principles, software architecture, technologies, etc.
• Deep understanding of how web, RESTful, and event-driven applications work in a microservices environment
• Skills in high-level language, such as TS/JS
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, XML, REST
• Practice in working within an Agile environment
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

Responsibilities 

• Work closely with development, business analysts, and product owners to ensure project success
• Communicate frequently with expert personnel and subject matter experts 
• Supports knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned
• Participates actively as a member of the Agile development team, working with product owner and wider development teams to sustain the overall quality of the product
• Interacts with the Product team to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria
• Design, create, and execute automated tests
• Manually performs tests that can’t be automated or will be automated later
• Uses various testing techniques to verify features and fixes are correctly implemented
• Gets familiar with feature requirements and provides feedback on them
• The ability and desire to learn new technologies and successfully adopt all company training
• Report and track software defects
