The Opportunity
You will add to, fix and maintain features of our product by working on our React Native apps, and React Native based mobile components. Experience with Android and/or IOS native development, and/or native modules are an added advantage.
This role is fully remote but should be on GMT (+1/+2/+3)
What you’ll do- Assist in the development and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native framework.- Assist in optimizing application performance and identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.- Develop new features and enhancements for our mobile applications using React Native framework.- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve technical problems as they arise.
What you’ll need- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript- At least 2 years of professional experience in mobile application development using React Native- Good understanding of React Native components, APIs and third-party libraries.- Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns and good practices.- Experience with publishing apps to the mobile stores (Android, iOs)- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.- You have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathyYou might not be experienced in all of these technologies, but you are still awesome and should join our team
Bonus- You created a working app on Thunkable- You have experience with Automation tools- You have a passion for well designed experiences and good UX- You have an interest in what happens in React Native under the hood (the bridge, Fabric, etc)- Experience with GraphQL(Apollo)Experience with Expo- You have experience and interest in QA/Testing- You have experience in small startup environments

This position offers a competitive salary that is based on a combination of factors including location. The salary range for this role in San Francisco is between $75,000 and $200,000 per year and will be based on qualifications and skills. If the successful candidate is located in a different location or country, the salary may vary based on the cost of living, currency and other local factors. We are open to discussing salary with candidates who are interested in the role and may be willing to negotiate based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
