Capgemini is looking for NodeJS Backend developer to join us for a fulltime/hybrid role in Englewood Cliff, NJ

 KEY RESPONSIBIITIES:

  • Work with clients to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure seamless communication and successful project execution.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and security.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of software solutions in line with industry best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 6 plus years of hands-on experience on NodeJS, with proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and relevant frameworks like Express.js, while preferred skills include experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies
  • Experience with Node.js core modules, streams, buffers, and file systems is crucial. 
  • Knowledge of both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases is valuable.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React or Angular) can be a plus for better collaboration.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Preferred 
  •  Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
