Your core responsibilities will include:

• Provide overall engineering leadership for the platform including software, systems, quality and site reliability.

• Remain hands on, and take the lead on the largest and most complex engineering challenges

• Ensure there is open communication and collaboration across engineering teams

• Set the standard for high quality code reviews

• Drive continuous Improve across the platform, including reducing build time, increasing deployment frequency, and improving resilience

• Actively mentor other engineers from within the team

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but having significant experience and exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team. 

• Proven experience as a Software Engineering leader.

• Expert-level and hands on experience in TypeScript, Aurora and other AWS technologies.

• Experience building public APIs that support mission critical applications

• Experience building secure, scalable and highly available cloud-native applications.

• Though leadership in AI.

• Ability to contribute to strategy and architecture, and translate this into pragmatic engineering design decisions.

• Ideally experience in Financial Services, Payments or related domains.

• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer science or similar experience
