We are seeking a skilled iOS Engineer to develop an iOS and CarPlay app: an AI-powered voice companion designed for solo driving experiences. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining features that enable users to safely capture thoughts, reflections, and ideas through hands-free voice interactions during drives.

We plan to develop the app with React Native (react-native-carplay).

Responsibilities:

• Develop the iOS application with seamless CarPlay integration, ensuring a user-friendly and intuitive interface.

• Implement real-time voice-to-text transcription, conversational AI interactions, and context-aware functionalities based on location and user preferences.

• Conduct thorough testing, identify and resolve bugs, and maintain high code quality standards.

Requirements:

• Significant experience with React Native or native Swift

• Proven experience developing iOS apps with CarPlay integration.

  • Experience with Android and Android Auto development is a plus

• Familiarity with frameworks such as CoreLocation, CoreMedia, and MediaPlayer.

• Proficiency in UI programming with UIKit or SwiftUI.

• Experience integrating AI services, such as Whisper and LiveKit conversational agents
