Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and maintain a comprehensive framework for web analytics instrumentation.
  • Design, validate, and ensure accurate implementation of new data-capture strategies that align with business goals and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the technical execution of analytics instrumentation through cross-functional teams, utilizing both agile and traditional project management techniques.
  • Conduct regular triage and troubleshooting for analytics-related issues, providing guidance and insights to stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand web analytics data collection, with a focus on key performance metrics.
  • Continuously assess and optimize the analytics framework to enhance its reliability, adaptability, scalability, and future-readiness.
  • Foster collaboration with engineering and technical teams company-wide, sharing best practices and exploring new integration possibilities.
  • Drive the efficiency of web analytics deployments by working closely with engineering teams.
  • Address ad hoc requests for web performance analysis from technical stakeholders with promptness and accuracy.

Required Skills:

  • Strong background in JavaScript, and HTML, and experience working with weblog databases and data warehousing.
  • Proficient in JavaScript frameworks, preferably with experience in React, Angular, or component-based development approaches.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and custom data capture systems (preferred but not required).
  • Practical experience with tag management solutions, especially Google Analytics, GTM, and DTM (mandatory).
  • In-depth understanding of web analytics data structures and related data.
  • Proven ability to influence and promote the adoption of analytics tools and solutions among technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when collaborating with engineering and marketing teams.
