The PMRA (Portfolio Manager Reporting and Analysis) Technology Team supports the Finance function which models and manages the Portfolio Manager and Point72 employee compensation process.

What you’ll do

• Help enhance the firm's corporate technology applications by developing a robust system for daily accruals and payout calculations and improving the accuracy of return estimates for our investors.
• Enhance data processing capabilities by delivering a set of new unified user interfaces to help review and manage PM payroll and employee related data
• Build UI components to streamline employee and deal-related data entry, improve audit trails for management updates, and reduce manual activities outside of finance systems and payroll

What’s required:

• Proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+), CSS (Flexbox/CSS Grid a plus), and HTML5
• Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Thorough understanding of asynchronous mechanisms used in modern web development, including Promises and Observables
• Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of typical platform components, such as databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and REST APIs
• Experience in architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners (e.g., webpack, browserify, gulp)
• Ability to write extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
• Experience in creating end-to-end test suites for all components and running them with Protractor or a well-reasoned alternative
• Experience in creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
• Expertise in the software development life-cycle (Agile) and software development tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
