An excellent opportunity has arisen in our North Sydney office for a Fullstack Software Engineer with a stronger backend programming focus within on our 9Now Engineering team. This role will give you the opportunity to work across your stronger back-end focus, utilizing Nodejs as our primary platform including front-end & dev-ops skills working together as part of a dynamic tight-knit team.
You will be responsible for building and operating a highly available, performant device and user authentication system and responsibly managing the identity data of Australia’s largest BVOD 9Now, Radio and Nine.com.au publishing user-base. Our systems are in the critical path for Nine’s BVOD and Digital Radio services and we pride ourselves on building highly scalable and resilient solutions that are consumed across by millions of users. We expect you to love solving problems, enjoy working collaboratively with other engineers, like to ship and support solutions that you design and build, and of course be curious about technology and love to learn and grow as an enthusiastic software engineer.
You will be supported to cross skill and train in DevOps and other areas of our stack.
Our tech stack includes Node.js, Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS, TeamCity CI/CD, Slack, Grafana, ElasticSearch, and more.
