What You’ll Do

• Modernize & Refactor: Incrementally rebuild and optimize our MERN stack.
• Database Mastery: Lead MongoDB improvements—query tuning, schema design, indexing, performance optimization.
• Boost Stability & Performance: Identify bottlenecks across the stack and implement robust solutions.
• Upgrade & Align: Replace outdated libraries, refine CI/CD pipelines, and enforce best practices.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce clear documentation and support handovers.
• Build New Features: Collaborate on both legacy improvements and new functionality.
• Influence Roadmap: Shape technical decisions and modernization priorities.
• Mentor & Lead: Guide teammates, influence hiring, and foster a strong technical culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong Node.js & React experience; willingness to lead Vue.js adoption.
  • Deep MongoDB expertise (query optimization, indexing, schema design).
  • Proven track record in refactoring and stabilizing complex legacy systems.
  • Performance tuning across the full stack.
• Collaboration: Clear, pragmatic communicator in English; confident in remote teamwork.
• DevOps & Workflow: CI/CD, testing frameworks, Agile practices.

Bonus:

• Mentorship or team leadership experience.
