About the role:

• The successful candidate will join our Pune based Software Delivery Centre and participate in the development and delivery of our Bank Account Manager product (FIS eBAM)
• You will work in a dedicated product development SCRUM team in an iterative delivery model.

What you will be doing:

• Function as senior member of an Agile scrum team providing technical leadership to a team of engineers and helping drive consistent development practices (tools, testing, common components, and documentation).
• Spend ~50% of time writing code and testing, and remainder of time architecting/designing, managing team and stakeholders through ongoing product/platform release sprints.
• Analyze/refine business features and user stories with Product Owner to support design and build activities.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Build reusable cross platform components and front-end libraries
• Articulate the interdependencies and the impact of the design choices.
• Collaborate with QA, product management, engineering, UX to achieve well groomed, predictable results.
• Improve and develop new engineering processes & tools.
• Fluidly adapt to changes and new requirements.

What you will need:

• 5-7 Years’ experience working on UI projects using Angular 17+, Material, Angular Nx plugin, Typescript, CSS, Test frameworks like Cypress and Jest
• 3+ Years experiencing developing UI screens which consumes Rest APIs. Good understanding of API calls and parsing the results returned by API’s
• A strong portfolio showcasing foundational understanding of UX and UI design, thought process and how you've contributed to solving specific problems with technical designs/solutions
• Hand’s on experience with performance improvements while loading a web page and calling API’s
• Experience in object-oriented design and development with languages such as Java, Spring
• Proven ability to deliver working solutions on time
• Strong analytical thinking to tackle challenging engineering problems.
• Great energy and enthusiasm with a positive, collaborative working style, clear communication and writing skills.
• Experience with working in DevOps environment - “you build it, you run it”
• Strong understanding of Web Programming
• Good knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins
• Development experience using Agile
• Experience working with cross-functional teams – partnering with product and development to oversee the user experience from conception to launch
• Fluent in English with effective communication and storytelling skills

Added bonus if you are:

• Experience building REST based micro services in a distributed architecture along with any cloud technologies. (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of UX principles. Experience with tools like Figma, Adobe XD
• Ability to think long-and short-term to meet the constraints of product and experience needs while iterating toward a future vision
• Keen ability to grasp complexity quickly and to focus on key issues
• Clear communication skill and ability to present your work to internal stakeholders at different design stages and support your decisions.
• Experience with prototyping to explore and convey design solutions
• Self-guided and motivated to learn new tools and techniques
