Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with 8+ years of experience who is passionate about building and optimising web-based applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing backend systems while closely collaborating with teams working on other layers of the product infrastructure. The role requires a deep understanding of scalable backend development and strong coordination skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as an individual contributor

• Technically sound with a positive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement

• Hands-on experience with AWS components, particularly API Gateway and Lambda

• Proficient in designing and developing microservices, including API structure, URL patterns, status codes, and middleware implementation (e.g., authorization)

• Solid understanding of API security principles, including OAuth

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend API development

• Experience working with serverless architectures

• Familiarity with event-driven system design and scalability, including considerations of time and space complexity
