Role Summary 

We are hiring a Mobile Technical Lead to anchor a global mobile delivery program focused on scaling feature velocity, improving release quality, and establishing strong version governance. 

This role will own mobile architecture decisions, integration strategy with Java backend systems, and release discipline across multiple geographies. 

This is not just a coding role — it is a delivery maturity role. 

Key Responsibilities 

Architecture Ownership 

• Define scalable React Native architecture 
• Establish modular component structure 
• Define API integration contracts with Java backend teams 
• Ensure environment-based configuration and version control governance ● Prevent codebase fragmentation across markets 

Release & Quality Governance 

• Implement structured CI/CD pipelines 
• Define regression testing strategy 
• Establish release readiness checklists
• Design rollback strategies 
• Reduce post-release instability 

Delivery Velocity Enablement 

• Improve sprint predictability 
• Introduce feature flag strategy 
• Help product team assess complexity early 
• Enable rapid 1–2 week test cycles 

Multi-Version Control 

• Ensure “single source of truth” mobile codebase ● Avoid region-specific forks 
• Create upgrade paths for new features 

Cross-Regional Leadership 

• Work across Mexico, Colombia, US & India teams ● Mentor regional engineers 
• Establish documentation discipline 
• Drive knowledge redundancy to avoid SPOF 

Required Skills 

• 7+ years software engineering experience 
• 4+ years React Native (production scale) 
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns ● Experience integrating with Java-based backend systems ● Experience with CI/CD (mobile pipelines) 
• Experience with mobile performance optimization ● Strong experience debugging complex production issues 

Strongly Preferred 

• Experience scaling apps across multiple markets ● Experience with consumer mobile products 
• Familiarity with distributed team delivery
• Experience with observability and crash analytics tools ● Prior experience acting as Technical Lead
