About the Customer

Our client is a German startup working on a fast-growing online auction platform connecting European car dealers. By leveraging advanced technology and data-driven insights, they provide a seamless and efficient marketplace for buying and selling vehicles. Our client ensures the seamless operation of digital processes in the automotive industry and develops new, innovative solutions for the B2B sector.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of background in backend engineering roles
  • Hands-on mentality towards not only technical but also organizational challenges, with a willingness to take the lead, challenge the status quo, and make decisions
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, Angular.js, and PostgreSQL
  • Competency in RESTful APIs, event-driven, and microservices architecture
  • Practical experience with agile development frameworks like Scrum and tools like JIRA, Confluence

Nice to Have

  • Conversational German skills
  • Experience in the automotive industry

English level

  • Work closely with the product team as part of a tight collaboration, where we focus on outcomes, not output
  • Be an active contributor to our personal growth culture by mentoring and supporting others, particularly junior engineers
  • Volunteer as a technical driver for product and tech topics, bringing to the team your expertise and experience in solving real-world problems
  • Moderate team sessions, guiding and supporting your team members as you tackle technical and process challenges together

  • Bring your influence to the wider engineering organization with involvement in cross-domain initiatives and Guild sessions
