Position Overview 

The Autodesk Platform Services and Emerging Technologies team is looking for a passionate Sr Software Engineer to join our team. Our organizational ecosystem comprises of cloud services and web client components. You will be based in Pune and will report to a Sr Development Manager. This is an opportunity to create amazing things and learn from some of the best in the industry.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Over 5-8 years of professional experience developing scalable, distributed applications

• Part of a large distributed team with significant responsibility

• Strong experience as a full-stack engineer developing and testing both frontend and backend

• Strong experience in programming languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, ReactJS and NodeJS

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices architecture

• Strong experience with building cloud-based API platforms or backend systems

• Strong knowledge of AWS, databases, and cloud architectures

• Strong experience and understanding of working on Agile processes like SCRUM

• Strong communication skills, and ability to influence without authority

• Ability to write good design documents

• Ability to cultivate consensus and alignment within and across teams

• Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with open source projects

• Experience with Git or equivalent distributed revision control systems
