Summary

To develop and maintain the  Redzone Web applications using Vue.js and TypeScript ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience for manufacturing front-line teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance manufacturing workflows in the Redzone Web applications.
• Complete delivery work committed during the sprint to achieve business goals.
• Help the business maintain a competitive edge by leveraging the latest Web technologies.
• Rely on feature flags to rapidly deploy and iterate on new features and lower the risk of delivering software to production.
• Provide subject matter expertise during incidents to resolve customer issues quickly.
• Participate in forums to explore interests outside of the sprint work and contribute ideas to continuously improve the system.
• Commit to the team to help the team and the wider business achieve our goals.
• Write testable and maintainable code.

Required skills

• 5+ years of experience building software applications.
• 3+ years of experience developing Vuejs applications.
• Skilled in designing APIs using OAS for clear, standardized documentation.
• Experienced in auto-generating API endpoints and models from OAS specs.
• Expertise in BFF architecture to optimize frontend-backend communication.
• Advanced knowledge of Vue.js for building modern, reactive user interfaces.
• Proficient with WebStorm as the primary IDE for efficient development.
• Expertise in server-side JavaScript development with Node.js.
• Familiar with modern frameworks like Bun, Deno, and Nest.js for diverse backend solutions.
• Strong experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Focus on writing modular, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience with trunk-based development for streamlined version control and faster CI/CD cycles.
• Skilled in feature flagging using LaunchDarkly for controlled feature releases.
• Proficient in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated workflows.
• Experienced in containerization with Docker for consistent environments and deployment.
