Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer II, you will design, develop, deploy, and maintain software features in your specialized domain (Back end/Front end).

Reporting to the Tech Lead, you'll be part of the Product & Tech Team, focusing on moderately complex software components.

What you will do

  • Deliver well-defined, moderately complex features as per specifications.
  • Debug and resolve issues across development, testing, and production.
  • Apply foundational knowledge in software design for new features and bug fixes.
  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable code and enforce best practices.
  • Determine when to seek assistance or invest additional effort.
  • Engage in team meetings and processes, becoming a supportive team member.
  • Act as the initial on-call responder for the team’s software.
  • Maintain awareness of the story lifecycle and seek team support for expertise.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver features and fixes.
  • Participate in the RFC process with comments and suggestions.
  • Support onboarding and mentor new junior team members.

Qualifications

  • The candidate should have minimum of 3+ years of experience.
  • The candidate should have a Dot.net and Angular experience.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and a solid understanding of JavaScript.
  • Strong grasp of Angular and its core principles.
  • Skilled in CSS, with experience in CSS pre-processors being a plus.
  • Expertise with Angular CLI, Nx, and modern build tools.
  • Knowledge of performance profiling and web vitals.
  • Proficiency in software unit testing and SDLC.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD automation, microservices, SOA, and secure coding practices (OWASP guidelines).
