Ivanti are looking for a Software Developer to join our software engineering teams whose primary focus will be maintaining existing .NET applications, develop applications features following industry standards best practices & integrate our applications with third party tools.  Successful candidate will primarily work with our proprietary WYSIWYG tools to create application features but will also require experience in HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript. Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment, and have a solid understanding of software development tools and methodology.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Primarily work on WYSIWYG tools to create new/maintain existing application features,
• Create intuitive, user-friendly content using industry best practices,
• Contribute to team’s goals/sprints success,
• Deliver high quality code complaint with Ivanti’s standards and ensue unit/integration test completion,
• Contribute to cross-teams discussions & code review,

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 4 years’ experience administering, configuring, and developing custom applications in a rapid prototype/WYSIWYG platform like Ivanti Service Management, ServiceNow, etc. (admin certification in any of these platforms highly preferred),
• 3+ years’ experience developing front-end web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript highly preferred),
• 3+ years’ experience creating, editing data in SQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL),
• 3+ years’ experience integrating with other applications using REST or SOAP (manipulating JSON data highly preferred),
• 1-3 years’ experience creating technical documentation for custom applications (Atlassian Confluence experience a plus),
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, solve issues quickly,
• A good understanding of high-quality user experience based upon industry standards,
• A high aesthetic for user interface design, color, and typography (experience with design guides highly preferred),
• Excellent written and oral communication skills,

Preferred:

• Experience in the ITIL industry (ITIL certification highly preferred)
• Experience with the Scrum/Agile framework (Agile/Scrum certification highly preferred)
• Experience with software version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
• Experience with software issue tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla, ADO etc.)
• Experience working with XML,
• Proven track record of learning new technologies and techniques,
• Must have initiative and desire to work independently,
• Excellent time management, decision making, and organization skills,
• Experience with DevOps / Azure desirable
• Multi-lingual highly preferred (Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese a big plus)
