Product Master powers the Digital price-list which is used for pricing lookup across Akamai. It provides interfaces for integrations with multiple ordering and contracting systems to provide Product and Pricing information.

As a Software Engineer II, you will work independently and apply subject matter knowledge in Web/Applications Development. You will be involved in developing new solutions and enhancing existing solutions for our users. You will be involved in converting high level design specifications into low level design and implementing them.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Developing applications using Angular/Typescript, HTML and CSS
• Developing applications focused on usability, performance, scalability, and robustness.
• Collaborating with engineering teams on dependencies and implementation within strict release schedules.
• Understanding the business domain deeply and working closely with business stakeholders.
• Converting UX prototypes to UI screens with unit test cases
• Collaborating with UX designers for prototype understanding and technical feasibility checks.
• Enhancing and improving existing applications and Problem solving and logical solutioning

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 2-4 years of Frontend/UI engineering experience and a bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Have expert-level knowledge in web app development using JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular (15, 17, 19), HTML, and SCSS.
• Have hands-on experience in writing Unit Test Cases using Jasmine and Karma; knowledge on end-to-end testing
• Have a good foundation on Object Oriented Programming and Ecmascript; experience on automated data driven apps development
• Have considerable experience in consuming RESTful APIs and manipulating complex data types
• Have Familiar with UX analysis, server-side programming, CI/CD, Git, and Agile.
