Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on API integration, database management, and cloud-native solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, leveraging serverless architecture on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs with databases and third-party applications.
• Work with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) to build cloud-native applications.
• Implement Identity & Access Management solutions (SSO, OAuth, JWT) and/or Payment Gateway integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, deployment, and automated testing.
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, and best coding practices.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong understanding of Node.js.
• Proficiency in API design, integration, and database management (SQL & NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms like OAuth, JWT, and SAML.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SNS/SQS.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
