Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Polymer or React) and CSS pre-processing frameworks (e.g., Sass or Less).
  • Experience with Front-End languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript).
  • Experience developing software applications using the C++ programming language.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience in C++.
  • Experience with the internals of JavaScript engines such as V8, SpiderMonkey, JavaScriptCore, or Java runtime.
  • Experience with Node API and working with add-ons.
  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional design.
  • Understanding of the web and technologies such as web browsers, HTTP, JavaScript and WebAssembly.

  • Author and review Continuation Local storage.
  • Contribute to shared team responsibilities.
  • Help Google Web developers build products using our tooling.
