Job Description
- Guide and Mentor Junior UI Team
- Think in terms of design systems and reusable components
- Perform reverse engineering of front end code to evaluate current UI state.
- Design and build UI architecture, components, and customizations for applications
- Ensures that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
- Coordinate with the client to gather requirements and understand current UI standards.
- Work with Engineering teams to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience
- Design sketches, wireframes, interaction flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for product features
- Collaborate closely with the Product owners to define features and contribute to the overall direction of the product.
Required Technical Competencies
Domain/ Industry Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of customer's business processes and relevant technology platform or product.
- Able to prepare process maps, workflows, business cases and analyze current-state and define to-be processes in collaboration with SME and present recommendations with tangible benefits
- Apply industry standards and practices in implementation with guidance from experienced team members.
- Create medium to complex business models in line with customer requirements independently.
Test Management:
- Specialized knowledge of testing concepts, testing standards and best practices
- Able to create iteration, system integration test plan and develop integration test cases as required.
- Can verify system build, test environment and iteration test plan.
- Create business scenario test cases and/or create automation test scripts based on understanding of functionality requirements and carry out root cause analysis.
- Able to conduct regression tests & impact analysis when a defect fix is made and analyze test results.
Technology/Product Knowledge:
- Specialized knowledge of product/platform and associated technologies.
- Able to implement code or configure/customize products and provide inputs in design and architecture.
- Can drive adoption of industry standards and practices in implementation.
- Create/ review optimized code that adheres to the low level design & requirements and provide feedback on improvement opportunities.
- work on complex modules independently, analyze various frameworks/tools and present recommendations.
- Can contribute to development of reusable assets, innovative solutions, training and certification material.
- Conduct technical sessions and knowledge sharing sessions.
Application Design:
- Specialized knowledge of design principles and performance engineering concepts.
- Able to design applications and database (high level/ low level design)
- Can identify and apply design standards following the applicable criteria and constraints
- Decide on tools and frameworks to be used and document templates, standards and best practices to be followed.
- Create UI / Design and business logic elements and constraints, navigation, screen flow and layout.
- Create traceability matrix based on requirements.
- Document design in modelling notation / project and customer preferences.
- Identify system functionality, and map functionality to hardware and software components and develop reusable/ reuse technical design components/frameworks.
Customer Management:
- Working knowledge of customer business domain and technology suite in client's context.
- Able to use the latest technology and build it into client engagement.
- Can understand the customer business and pro-actively suggest solutions which will lead to additional business.
