Qualitest Group is looking for a JavaScript Engineer to join our team in Bucharest as a part of the leading company in the world when it comes to digital forensics investigations.

Our client provides tools and solutions for forensic examiners, police officers and detectives to connect the dots of an investigation.

You will take a major part in the development, developing new features, enhancing old ones and writing unit tests for your code to ensure a clean and smooth application development and deploy process. Also working side by side with several team members, Project managers, DevOps and System Architects.

Requirements

• Experience and knowledge of the JavaScript web stack, from frontend technologies to server-side technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Angular and ReactJS).
• Experience in building client-side SPA web applications, connecting to different servers and REST APIs.
• Experience in building those servers and APIs. Connecting to Databases. Authentication and Authorization flows.
• Experience in common design patterns in web development overall (How the web works, DNS, APIs, HTTP request/response/payload, cookies, npm modules e.t.c)

Good Advantages:

• Object oriented JavaScript, ES6 and Typescript.
• Experience in server-side development using NodeJS - ExpressJS and NestJS.
• Working experience with docker and docker-compose and/or K8s.

Required Skills:

• Technology oriented and passionate about JavaScript and the web in general.
• Autodidact person who can embrace new technologies and frameworks - and actually reads the full documentation.
• Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
