ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an international leader at its domain, is seeking for an experienced Back-End Developer (Node.js), to join their Development Team.

Workplace Location: Heraklion, Crete - with a Hybrid Work Model

What you will be doing:

You will be a multi-disciplinary international team, in an Agile development environment, and together you are responsible for the development of new functionalities, maintenance and support of the products and services.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Implementing business logic
• Analysing and solving issues reported by their customers
• Understanding and improving their data model using an SQL server database
• Making sure their core products can also be accessed by web applications through API’s, upholding security principles

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 3+ year's experience in professional software development
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js
• Strong knowledge of designing and implementing applications based on a SQL relational database (Mongo or MySQL)
• Experience in interconnecting 3rd party independent systems through APIs
• Excellent command of English (written & verbal)

Any experience in the following will be highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes based cloud infrastructure (such as Azure)
• Knowledge of CI/CD
