You will be an integral part of our Business-for-Sale engineering team in San Francisco and will help our mission to inspire and help entrepreneurs to find business opportunities and create value through Business Ownership.
This position is located in San Francisco and offers a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support high-traffic, real-time web applications using ASP.NET Core MVC as the backend framework and Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript on the frontend. Ensure the applications are highly performant, maintainable, and reusable.
Lead in establishing architectural best practices and mentor junior team members.
Collaborate with business partners on product design and feature development.
Analyze technical requirements and architect new components and web pages.
Implement product features, refine specifications, and continuously improve code quality.
Develop and maintain database solutions with performant queries.
Apply software design patterns and best practices for building reusable and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews, source control management, build automation, and testing processes.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver solutions from concept to implementation.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Gain a deep understanding of the company's business domain and products.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
8+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong working knowledge of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with a full-stack framework (Angular, React, etc.) and TypeScript.
Experience with building and deploying web applications in AWS cloud.
Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
Experience with software testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, AWS Toolkit).
Deep understanding of software design patterns and principles.
Experience in microservices architectures.
Experience mentoring junior developers

This position offers a base salary range of $124,000 - $211,000, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
