THE ROLE:Do you want to have an impact on a product that is used by millions of users across multiple devices on a daily basis? As a team, we work on services that are in the heart of company's focus, helping to drive the engagement of our fans on the platform. We are responsible for the backend part of features that allow our clients to search through the available content and follow their favourite teams whenever they play. The work we do has an immediate effect on the clients experience, as well as on the business.
This role is based in Katowice, Poland. The internal job title is Software Engineer - Intern.
AS OUR NEW Software Engineer YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Develop new and existing backend services (in the team we mainly focus on functionalities such as follow, search and content restriction based on age).
- Support other developers with their day-to-day work.
- Deliver high quality, robust and testable code adhering to internal engineering procedures, code conventions and development methodologies.
- Learn and work with such technologies as: AWS - in particular services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Elasticache, Cloudfront; Terraform / CloudFormation; TypeScript; Node.js; ElasticSearch.
YOU’LL HAVE:
- Knowledge of JavaScript, REST APIs, Git.
- Knowledge about databases (relational or non-relational).
- Good command of English.
