Location: United States, Remote Hours: Full-time Salary band: $125,000-$136,000Workit Health is looking for a Software Developer to join our team as a React Native engineer, with preferable experience developing web applications in React. You will join a dynamic fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable software solutions. As a member of our engineering team, you’ll be critical in delivering software that improves people’s lives, safely and securely delivering the most accessible mental health and overall wellness services.Responsibilities
Develop new components for Workit Health’s iOS, Android and web applications
Collaboratively expand and refactor an existing React Native application
Contribute to a growing design language and help to apply it to existing components
Research, scope, and test new technologies to improve our team workflow and user experience
Provide code review and test software for accessibility and reliability across a variety of devices
Help define best practices for development processes
Collaborate with our design team to develop new features and functionality
Work with technologies in any or all of the following areas: video conferencing, chat messaging, datetime management, complex user interface design, token authentication
Provide ongoing maintenance of applications, improving our infrastructure and making our applications more reliable
Provide engineering support for IT tickets/bug reports via Sentry, Asana, Jira, & Github on an as-needed basis
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science or related field; or 3 years of industry experience.
Experience
2+ years of Javascript experience
1-2 years of React Native experience
Knowledge of RESTful APIs
Experience testing, releasing and deploying native applications in App Store and Play Store
Knowledge of systems design concepts
Comfortable using git, managing multiple branches, resolving merge conflicts
Comfort and reliability with remote communication: Slack, Jira, video stand-ups

Excitement for gamification and motivational interfaces
Experience with test-driven development and the use of testing frameworks
Familiarity with expo, sentry, and a variety of JS frameworks
