JOB POSITION

CGS India is seeking Senior Software engineer a talented and motivated front end Developer to join our team.

Reporting to Team Lead, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems.

In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key deliverables:

• Work in the various stages of software development life cycle including business requirement gathering, requirement analysis, development, and review of components and testing activities.
• Build scalable applications and services based on cutting-edge technologies.
• Build and maintain extensible performant APIs.
• A quick learner and a great coder. Should be able to code from end to end of a feature.
• Must be a go getter, self-motivated engineer to the core. 
• Should carry out requirement gathering and ETA assessment. 
• Work with team to groom and create stories. 
• Lead architectural decisions and its implementations. 
• Interact with cross functional team driving features independently. 
• Must be able to bring in innovation 
• Establish and promote coding guidelines, best practices and design standards, consistently raise the bar for coding and architectural standards through your work.

QUALIFICATION

Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers )

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience as a full stack/front-end developer with general-purpose programming languages.
• Experience developing or designing client-side applications.
   

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• 4-6 Years of experience as a frontend engineer.
• Strong knowledge on ReactJS, Next JS and its ecosystem - Redux, React-router, UI design, RESTful services, and RESTful APIs.
• Should have knowledge on Typescript.
• Should be good in Core JavaScript concepts like object-oriented programming
• Fluent in CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript and HTML
• Experience in improving application performance and debugging techniques
• Should have good understand on how to write Unit test cases.
