What you'll do

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend React Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality front-end applications using React, collaborating closely with our product, design, and back-end teams. You’ll leverage your extensive experience to drive best practices, mentor junior developers, and ensure that our web applications are performant, scalable, and user-friendly.

• Define the overall structure and architecture of the front-end applications using React.
• Design reusable, component-based architecture and scalable applications that align with project goals and end-user needs.
• Make architectural decisions to address technical challenges, including application performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Lead the front-end development team in implementing solutions, setting coding standards, and guiding through technical challenges.
• Mentor and coach junior and senior React developers on best practices, component design, state management, and testing strategies.
• Provide technical guidance on React, TypeScript, and ecosystem libraries, including Redux, Jest, React Query, etc.
• Lead code reviews and drive the adoption of modern development practices across the team.
• Implement performance optimization techniques, such as lazy loading, code-splitting, and caching, to improve page load times and efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues across the React application and related front-end services.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in React, front-end technologies, and architectural best practices.
• Establish and enforce a best-practice-driven development environment, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and a robust code quality process.
• Implement highly responsive user interface components using React.js.
• Proactively identify and escalate issues and risks at the module level.

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years focused on react-focused architect or similar senior role.
• Degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
• Degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience 
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js and related libraries (Redux, React Router, Context API, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of state management principles and libraries, including Redux, MobX, or React Query.
• Familiarity with modern build tools and bundlers, including Webpack, Vite, Babel, or Parcel.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and understanding of back-end integration principles
• Experience with SFCC development is strongly preferred, particularly with SFRA or Headless Commerce.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processing platforms like SASS or LESS.
• Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Angular.js, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Babel, Webpack, NPM).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with backend services.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
• Experience with PWA development and user interface design is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.
• Proficient in version control systems like Git, with experience in collaborative environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively and meet deadlines.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
