The Role
We are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our team. Working closely with the founders and the engineering team, you'll be instrumental in the advancement of a highly available, scalable, and secure platform. 
This is a role that will require 4-7 years of experience with hands-on experience building SaaS applications, have a strong understanding of data security, extensive experience with relational databases and have experience with AWS. You have strong architectural instincts and experience mapping business problems to technical solutions using NodeJS and AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the back-end systems and responsiveness to front-end requests
• Designing UI and back-end services for various business processes
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.Js development.
• Collaborating with the development team on architectural solutions or the integration of new features
• Work with product owners and play a significant role in the advancement of our platform 
• Train other developers when required 

Who You Are

• Post-secondary education in one of the following areas preferred: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.
• 5+ years experience developing production-quality software at high scale
• 3+ years NodeJSexperience
• 3+ years Postgres experience (NoSQL experience an asset as well)
• 1+ years experience with AWS Cloud technologies and hands-on experience with cloud services
• Strong architecture skills and data modeling abilities
• Worked in an environment with CI/CD practices
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Data security expertise and understanding of security standards
• Experience with AWS deployment, Docker/containerization

• You have experience working with mentoring others
