Job Description

We in zooplus are currently looking for a great JavaScript/TypeScript Full Stack Developer familiar with our backend tech stack to join one of our teams and contribute to the further success of the team and the company. Here are some things about us that we take pride in:

Your Responsibilities include:

• Developing and continuously delivering applications for one of the most successful e-commerce platforms in Europe.
• Participating in the complete software development life cycle, from concept through coding to testing and maintaining.
• Working autonomously in an agile team.
• Participating actively and collaboratively in daily meetings, planning, refinement, review, and retrospective.
• Participating in technical and architectural discussions and decisions as a team.
• Taking on new challenges and working on new initiatives and products as needed.
• Delivering value and quality by developing new features, maintaining existing products, and improving infrastructure when necessary.
• Discovering and solving the digital challenges of delivering services for pet owners.
• The gross annual salary for this position is 55,000 EUR – 65,000 EUR, depending on qualifications, experience and interview performance

Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Comfortable with front-end tasks using React, HTML5, CSS3.
• Skilled in back-end technologies: Node.js, express.js, PostgreSQL, or any other relational database.
• Experience in dealing with version control systems.
• An agile mindset and ideally experience with Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Solution-driven and collaborative approach.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar experience.
• German language skills are a plus but not required.
• Experience with Next.js.
• Knowledge of AWS and Terraform.
