We are looking for a Geospatial Full Stack Engineer (React) to support our Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering (OCRE) Research Centre in Ottawa (ON).
NRC Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering (OCRE) supports a broad cross-section of industry sectors by developing creative and practical solutions to engineering challenges in rivers, lakes, and marine environments. We provide expertise and tools to identify, adapt, and integrate advanced solutions into systems that improve the performance and safety of ocean, coastal, and marine operations, meet the challenges of climate change, and protect infrastructure, property and people from severe weather events and other environmental risks.
Reporting to the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Team Lead, the Web Developer creates and maintains web tools and services to advance OCRE's research capabilities and to meet the needs of research and commercial projects.
The ideal candidate for this position would possess the skills required to amplify OCRE’s research impacts through developing efficient and accessible online tools. This ideal candidate would embrace and lead the adoption of the latest web technologies, cloud service providers and spatiotemporal big data analytical/visualization libraries to support a variety of projects, such as:

From $89,548 to $112,660 per annum.
