Role Summary

Join Our Team as a Junior/Mid-Level Front-End Developer!

At Zalaris, we are a rapidly expanding global leader in HR and payroll tech solutions, founded on Nordic values of inclusivity, innovation, and integrity.

We are building a dynamic and innovative development team in Riga, and we’re looking for a talented Front-End Developer with experience in React and related technologies. You’ll play a key role in enhancing our platform and creating exceptional user experiences.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement UIs and UI components using React and other frontend technologies
• Write, test, debug, and implement clean, efficient, and maintainable code to meet user requirements
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, backend developers, and testers to deliver seamless applications
• Understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions
• Improve and optimize the performance of frontend components for maximum efficiency
• Document application changes and updates, maintaining clear and comprehensive code documentation
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and frameworks, share knowledge and best practices

Your Experience and Skills

• 2+ years of experience in UI development with React.js and related technologies
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and Tailwind CSS
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, React-query, and using React Hooks
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Node.js and Nginx (good to have)
• Experience working in Agile environments and using appropriate debugging tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, self-driven attitude
• Strong command of English
