About the Role

As a Lead Full Stack Engineer at Bilue, you’ll play a key role in leading the delivery of high-quality, scalable digital products for our clients. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior engineer who thrives in high-performing teams, is passionate about quality code, and brings strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll work primarily with React on the front end and AWS-based services on the back end.

Key Responsibilities

• Deep experience building TypeScript applications using frameworks such as React and Next.js
• Experience building and managing cloud-native applications in AWS (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3)
• Lead technical design, implementation, and delivery of full-stack features and improvements
• Build responsive, component-based UIs with React (Hooks, Context API, etc.)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into working software
• Perform code reviews, mentor team members, and contribute to technical decision-making
• Drive best practices for CI/CD, testing, code quality, and performance optimisation
• Experience with headless CMS such as Storyblok, Contentful etc. highly desirable

You're passionate about writing clean code, mentoring others, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build digital products that make a real impact. You bring deep experience building TypeScript applications using frameworks such as React and Next.js, and thrive in environments where modern frontend tech meets cloud-native architecture.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Deep experience building TypeScript applications using frameworks such as React and Next.js
• Solid experience designing and deploying services on AWS
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Comfortable balancing technical leadership with hands-on coding
