Position Purpose
This role will be a key position in supporting and expanding backend systems for our e-commerce solution. A strong understanding of backend systems that support distributed processing and application resiliency is very important to the success of this position as well.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Backend Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our growing eCommerce team, solving challenging problems quickly and efficiently, focusing on backend development. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of backend developers, including design, code reviews and technical mentorship. Successful candidate will work daily with our software architects and will be responsible for building distributed systems using NodeJS and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering fields
5+ years of experience in backend development
At least 3 years of experience in backend NodeJS development
NestJS
MySQL/PostgreSQL
Experience with distributed systems
Working knowledge of Kubernetes is a big plus!
