Job Title: React Developer - Frontend Specialist with React/Django Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced React/Django Developer with a primary focus on frontend web development to join our growing ecommerce company. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of web technologies and best practices, with a passion for creating seamless user experiences. While the core role is frontend-focused, having some experience in Python, particularly with Django, is a significant advantage. This is a nearshore position, and the candidate will work closely with our team in the U.S. and be expected to be available for regular zoom meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and implement new user-facing features for our e-commerce platform.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Develop and maintain high-quality frontend components using React.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Integrate frontend elements with backend services, written in Python/Django.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Collaborate with QA and testing teams to ensure the high quality of frontend code.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and frameworks.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with our team.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in React and its ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with Django backends.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Experience with front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, along with web technologies such as SASS or LESS.
• Familiarity with Git and other version control systems.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some experience in Python, especially Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience in ecommerce or manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of state management tools like Redux or Context API.
• Experience working remotely or in a nearshore environment.
