Role Description / Areas of responsibility:

US Securitized Products IT is the team within Wholesales Operations and Technology group that is responsible for supporting trade and transaction processing technology platform.

This team provides day to day support to the trading, sales, middle office, compliance, operations and regulatory users, manage the vendor and in-house applications. Group also own the applications that provide trade settlement data service to other technology teams from Operations, Finance, Reference Data , Risk, Regulatory and Compliance.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

The position is for 5+ years React Developer whose duties include:

  • The ideal candidates will be clear, organized thinkers who are able to communicate well within the team and with our business clients. Most importantly, they will be enthusiastic about building excellent software that makes a direct impact on the bottom line of the business we support.
  • Work closely with trading and diligence teams to integrate various components of a warehouse finance platform.
  • Provide technical assistance to front office functions, including traders, quants and risk officers.
  • Follow release and production change procedures and work with other teams to deliver and maintain reliable and functional front-office applications.
  • High degree of competence with React software development with software development foundations (ie. design pattern and principles)
  • Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects
  • Implement Devops Tool chain products to support build, test and release automations for the in house applications
  • Reengineer the existing applications for private and public cloud migration
  • Perform design and code reviews with other members in the team
  • Support production releases, respond to user queries and production issues and work towards successful resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years' experience in the financial IT industry and hands on with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Must have strong knowledge of JavaScript, (Typescript is a plus), React, Redux, Material-UI, Node.js
  • Should be familiar with Node.js development and nice to have experience with Electron
  • Proficient in UI Testing Automation frameworks using Jest, React Testing Library (or Enzyme)
  • Working knowledge of Restful APIs, caching solutions and event-driven architectures (websockets).
  • Must have working knowledge of all major CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible etc. for build, packaging and deployment
  • Comfortable working with global technology teams, good problem solving attitude and ability to articulate the technical solutions to managers and senior members
  • Understand functional and non-functional requirements and develop a scalable and high performance solutions.
  • Experience in managing a small team of developers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be team oriented and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Finance
