Together with our partner, we are looking for a:

Senior Backend Developer (TypeScript) 

To help the team take the platform to the next level. You would be a part of a product team consisting of 20, with 13 engineers from Zürich and Belgrade. They take pride in our fast pace and execution excellence.

Technology stack:

• Main application build with NestJS
• Several microservices and Lambda functions written in Typescript
• Our backend is mostly hosted on AWS, and we have modern CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• They are using managed versions of Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.
• The front-end is written in Typescript using the Next.js framework and hosted on Vercel

Your responsibilities:

• Plan and implement new features on the backend in Typescript (or whatever other language is better suited for the task)
• Come up with a sustainable and performant new architecture and decide on the right technology for the job
• Help solve hard problems the engineers in the team are facing and perform rigorous peer reviews on the pull requests 
• Ensure that the codebase follows best practices, including unit, integration, and e2e testing
• Collaborate with the product teams and business stakeholders to define and create new amazing features
• Monitor and maintain the current infrastructure

The following qualities are a must:

• Eager to work in a young team with a lot of freedom, flexibility, and responsibility
• 7+ years of experience working with web technologies
• 4+ years of experience working on the backend
• Solid knowledge of modern backend architecture
• Very passionate about coding and technology in general
• In-depth knowledge of Typescript and proficient in web technologies
• Engineering mindset
• Fluent English speaker 

Having the following qualities helps but is not strictly necessary:

• Setup new infrastructure elements on AWS as code in Terraform
• Likes cars and is interested in the transportation and mobility of the future
