We are an early-stage startup developing a platform that reimagines how people discover and engage with news content. This role offers the opportunity to help build core features from the ground up, influence the direction of the product, and collaborate closely with a small, highly product-focused team. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is eager to make a meaningful impact in redefining the news experience.
Own and continuously improve the product’s architecture and codebase.
Build and deliver new features across the stack using technologies like React, Node.js, DynamoDB, and AWS Lambda.
Write clear and maintainable documentation (or at the very least, leave behind memorable and helpful memes).
Leverage data to drive product decisions and challenge existing assumptions.
Collaborate closely with a small, passionate team dedicated to building something meaningful.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends — if TikTok isn’t on your radar, this might not be the right fit
Comfortable working across the full stack:
Frontend: Solid experience with React
Backend: Proficiency with Node.js
Confident switching between front and back end and independently delivering features
Proven experience with AWS, especially:
AWS Lambda (serverless compute)
DynamoDB (NoSQL database)
