We are looking for a proactive and autonomous Full-stack Engineer to join the Merchant Experience team.

The team is launching a new strategic initiative aimed at enabling self-serve onboarding to the Solidgate payment ecosystem without the involvement of the sales team.

Our goal is to create a fully automated funnel that seamlessly guides clients from their first interaction with the product on the landing page, through registration, KYC onboarding, contract signing with Solidgate, and ultimately, getting started with payments.

To achieve this, we are developing a range of services designed to ensure a flexible KYC process configuration, merchant data and document verification, and efficient document management.

What challenges await you?

• Development of a service for building dynamic survey flows and automating the merchant onboarding process — merchant-quest and digital-onboarding;
• Creating new services to support the rapid development of web products (data export service, audit log, notification center);
• Improvement of existing Node.js services and development approaches (CI/CD, alerts lib, metrics lib, kafka lib, etc.), monitoring, logging;
• Writing tests of various levels and using the Shift Left testing approach;
• Working on performance metrics.

What you need:

• 4+ years of experience in developing commercial software;
• Focus on backend development (frontend tasks take up to 20% of your time);
• Experience with any frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.);
• Writing code tests is a must for you;
• Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL;
• Ability to work both in a team and independently;
• Initiative and decision-making skills;
• Proactivity and result-oriented mindset.

The following experience would be a plus:

• Experience in fintech or the financial sector;
• Experience working with message brokers: RabbitMQ/Kafka/Nats;
• DevOps + Platform: DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitLab pipelines;
• Observability: Grafana, Prometheus;
• Experience with Amazon services.
