Job description

Our team owns, develops, and advocates our IDP (internal developer portal): Backstage. This means you'll be part of:

onboarding services, designing and developing features, custom plugins and integrations with 3rd party systems
maintaining installation stable, secure, efficient, and up-to-date
collaborating with stakeholders, including developers, architects, and infrastructure teams, to understand requirements, gather feedback, continuously improve Backstage, and support them in their onboarding and plugin development
making code quality improvements
Required skills
Experience with the development of modern, cloud-based, containerized solutions
Strong JavaScript skills coupled with experience in React and Node.js
Experienced with relational databases, RESTful APIs, GitHub
Senior behavior, demonstrating leadership and empowerment towards peers, and strategic thinking about technology
Comfortable in facilitating and participating in the team discussions and problem solving

Good to have
Experience with: Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools like Grafana or Splunk
Proficiency in making code quality improvements and ensuring high standards in all development processes
Collaborating with stakeholders, including developers, architects, and infrastructure teams, to understand requirements, gather feedback, and continuously improve the platform
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, YAML, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Terraform, automated code analysis tools
Capability to support onboarding services and plugin development

Bonus for the extra
Knowledge or experience of Developer Portals like Backstage
Azure certification

Location: Stockholm/Sweden 
Form of employment: Full-time until further notice, we apply 6 months probationary employment.
