Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled React Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end technologies and a passion for building mission critical user-centric applications for large global customers. You will work closely with our product, back-end engineering and design teams to create high-quality, performant, and scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive web interfaces using React, ensuring high performance, scalability, and usability
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design systems, user flows, and wireframes into production-ready components
• Integrate UI components with back-end services via WebSocket's and/or RESTful API's
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues related to functionality, responsiveness, and performance
• Work in an Agile environment, contribute to sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as well as providing and receiving feedback on pull requests

Requirements

• Experience as a lead developer capable of starting a production grade web application from the ground-up
• Proven experience with React 18+ and a deep understanding of its core principles such as State Management, Lifecycle, Context, Hooks, etc.
• Strong proficiency writing Typescript and native JavaScript
• Strong proficiency using WebSocket's for two-way asynchronous communication with back-end API's
• Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, OIDC, and JWTs
• Experience with Git for source control management
• Desire to write high performing code and to stay on top of new technologies
• Desire to help us continuously improve our products with your contributions
• Bonus: Experience coding animated visualizations on a HTML5 canvas
• Bonus: Experience building web applications with multimedia playback (A/V playout)
