What your day-to-day will look like:Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycleWork with the business to iterate over software requirementsDevelop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient codeAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingAnalyze and debug systemsPerform validation and verification testing in a test-driven mannerReview the work of others, and invite others to review your workCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve productsEnsure software is up-to-date with latest technologies What qualifications we’re looking for:3+ years writing JavaScript code is required (understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, for both front end and back end)5+ years of proven work experience as a Front-end web developer using React, JavaScript/Typescript, CSSA solid knowledge of modern web development paradigms (micro front ends and similar).Experience writing clean code that performs well at scalePractical experience of REST principles and best practices of building and using RESTful APIsExperience with automated Web testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Jest, Selenium, etc.)Solid understanding of TDD and have working knowledge of itProficient in GITExperience using system and performance monitoring tools (e.g. AppDynamics, Kibana, Sentry, etc.)Excellent organization, critical-thinking and personal leadership skillsSelf-starter with the ability to deliver with minimal supervisionBeing okay with the uncomfortable feeling that comes from learning new thingsTeam playerAnalytical mind with problem-solving aptitude Bonus points for:BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degreeExperience with Spring BootExperience with Docker, Kubernetes and IstioExperience with AnsibleExperience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelineLinux and IP networking knowledgeExperience with AWS/Azure cloud services or equivalentExperience with SAML, OAuth and OpenID ConnectExperience working on a SaaS productExperience with Service Oriented Architecture Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash or GroovyOn-call experience with production grade systemsHas mentored others in a professional setting-#LI-AV1#LI-Hybrid
