Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working on the demo team building and enhancing features using cutting-edge technologies. The successful candidate will assist in designing and building scaled, multi-tenant and high-performance features and demo environments. Furthermore, you will collaborate with highly experienced members of the demo engineering and pre-sales teams to define best practices for demo creation and delivery. You will help the demo team deliver high quality, easily customizable, impactful demo artifacts while continually improving solution robustness and performance/scalability of the demo environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Understand business requirements, defines technical designs, and develops solutions to meet requirements.
  • Write proof-of-concept, feature, enhancement and corrective code following demo team standards, design standards, and industry best practices.
  • Unit test code to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Document solutions to improve the demo experience for the pre-sales team.
  • Collaborate with other members of the demo team and pre-sales stakeholders to ensure the business requirements are met.
  • Present accurate estimates, designs, ideas and results to the demo team.
  • Collaborate with the demo team and pre-sales team to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Diagnose and correct production issues that impact the demo portal or demo assets.

This job requires the candidates to work EU shift (12.30 p.m. - 9.30 p.m. IST). 

Qualifications

Required Skills: 

  • Excellent modern JavaScript engineering skills, preferably including experience with Next.JS
  • Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, Tailwind)
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently on individual projects and challenges.
  • Attention to best practices, quality and detail, and a personal drive to deliver great results.
  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts and other code design practices to a range of technical audiences.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a multinational environment.

Additional Desired Skills Requirements:  

  • Sitecore XM/XP development experience
  • Strong .NET development skills, C# and ASP.NET.
  • Experience deploying on AKS
  • Experience with automated test frameworks (CodedUI, Selenium, etc.)
